We continue to acquaint you with the prominent figures of our university on the eve of the Day of Russian Science
Nikita Sergeev is one of the favorite teachers among students of the Department of Digital Economics at KAI. His students regularly win the annual competition “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”; take prizes in international scientific conferences and competitions. This is not surprising: firstly, because Nikita loves his work, and uses relevant materials for his classes, and secondly, he himself has graduated from KAI not long ago.
He entered the Institute of Economics, Management and Social Technologies (nowadays the Institute of Engineering Economics and Entrepreneurship) of KNRTU-KAI in 2016 to study in the field of World Economics. Upon successful completion of his studies and obtaining bachelor’s degree, Nikita Sergeev decided to continue his education under the brand-new master’s degree program Innovatics.
“During my master studies, I was admitted to the additional professional training, and in 2021 was awarded the qualification Teacher of Economics. Shortly after, in order to test acquired knowledge, I was accepted as a teacher at the Department of Digital Economics.” – says Nikita Sergeev.
He also notes that many of his students have a brilliant, modern way of thinking. Therefore, besides mastering the main educational program, there are actively engaged in the all kind of science-based activities, such competitions, olympiads, conferences and forums.
“For me personally, the result of my work is the achievements of my students,” admits Nikita Sergeev and emphasizes that his teachers, and nowadays - colleagues, have always been the example of dedication to the profession and science overall.
Nowadays Nikita is already the deputy director of the Institute of Engineering Economics and Entrepreneurship of KNRTU-KAI, and a member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the university.
